Product Overview

330103-00-07-11-02-CN: Stop the Clock on Your Turbomachinery Downtime — Ship Today from Xiamen

Every hour a gas turbine or critical compressor sits idle costs real money — production losses, penalty clauses, emergency labor. When your Bently Nevada 3300 Series proximity transducer fails, you don’t have time for a 6-week OEM lead time. The Bently Nevada 330103-00-07-11-02-CN is in stock at our Xiamen warehouse right now. We’ve shipped this exact part number to power plants in Southeast Asia, refineries in the Middle East, and steel mills across China — same-day dispatch, DHL/FedEx door-to-door, full tracking from the moment we hand it over.

This is not a substitute. Not a compatible alternative. This is the genuine 330103-00-07-11-02-CN — 25 mm probe, 5-metre extension cable, –18 VDC Proximitor® output, CN market configuration — the exact assembly your 3300 XL rack expects to see. Drop it in, re-zero your gap voltage, and your machinery protection system is back online.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips

The three failure modes that bring engineers to this page at 2 AM:

1. Probe tip physical damage. The most common cause of 330103 series failure in compressor trains is probe tip impact from a shaft rub event or foreign object ingestion. Symptom: Proximitor® output goes to rail voltage (–24 VDC or 0 VDC) and stays there regardless of gap adjustment. Confirm by disconnecting the probe from the extension cable — if the Proximitor® output normalizes to mid-range, the probe is the culprit, not the Proximitor® module.

2. Extension cable insulation breakdown. In high-vibration environments, the coaxial extension cable develops micro-fractures in the shield braid over time, especially at the probe-end connector. Symptom: intermittent noise spikes on the vibration channel, often correlating with machine speed changes. Resistance check between center conductor and shield should read open circuit — anything below 1 MΩ indicates insulation failure. Replace the full 330103-00-07-11-02-CN assembly; do not attempt to splice the cable.

3. Proximitor® gap voltage drift. If the probe and cable check out but your gap voltage has shifted more than ±0.5 VDC from the original commissioning value without any mechanical change, suspect Proximitor® module aging — not the transducer. Before condemning the 330103-00-07-11-02-CN, swap the Proximitor® module first.

Replacement procedure — field checklist:

  • De-energize the Proximitor® module at the rack. Do not hot-swap proximity transducers on live systems — the –24 VDC bias supply can arc at the connector.
  • Record the existing gap voltage before removal. Target gap for 25 mm probe on steel shaft: 1.0 mm = –10.0 VDC ±0.5 VDC. Your commissioning sheet should have the as-built value.
  • Remove the probe from its holder. Note the thread engagement depth — mark it with a paint pen before removal if the holder does not have a locknut reference.
  • Install the new 330103-00-07-11-02-CN probe. Thread in to the same depth, then fine-adjust gap using a feeler gauge or dial indicator until gap voltage matches the recorded commissioning value.
  • Torque the locknut to 5–7 N·m. Do not over-torque — the probe body is stainless steel threaded into an aluminum holder on most installations.
  • Re-energize the Proximitor® and verify: gap voltage within ±0.2 VDC of target, no alarm or danger trip, vibration channel reading baseline noise floor (typically <0.5 mm/s RMS at rest).
  • Log the replacement in your machinery history file with the new probe serial number and gap voltage as-left value.

CN-suffix configuration note: The -CN variant uses identical electrical specifications to the standard -00 suffix. The CN designation affects labeling language and documentation package only — no hardware or calibration differences. Your existing Proximitor® module does not require reconfiguration.

Reliability in Harsh Conditions

The 3300 Series was not designed for a climate-controlled instrument room. It was designed for the bearing housing of a 15,000 RPM gas turbine running in a desert, a tropical offshore platform, or a steel mill where ambient temperatures swing 60°C between seasons.

The 330103-00-07-11-02-CN probe body is machined from 316 stainless steel with a hermetically sealed tip. The eddy-current coil assembly is encapsulated in a ceramic-filled epoxy compound that resists thermal cycling, oil mist, and process gas condensation. The probe tip has been validated to withstand continuous operation at +177°C — covering the bearing housing temperatures of virtually all industrial turbomachinery in service today.

The 5-metre extension cable uses a double-shielded coaxial construction with a fluoropolymer (PTFE) dielectric that maintains impedance stability across the full operating temperature range. The cable jacket is rated for continuous exposure to lubricating oil, hydraulic fluid, and common industrial cleaning solvents. Vibration endurance testing per IEC 60068-2-6 confirms the cable assembly survives 10–2000 Hz swept-frequency vibration at 20 g — the kind of vibration environment found on the bearing pedestals of large reciprocating compressors.

Connector integrity is a known weak point on competitive proximity transducer systems. Bently Nevada uses a bayonet-lock coaxial connector at both the probe-to-cable and cable-to-Proximitor® interfaces. The connector bodies are gold-plated for corrosion resistance and rated for 500+ mating cycles — relevant when you’re doing quarterly maintenance inspections on a critical machine.

Global Express Logistics

Our Xiamen warehouse is 40 minutes from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN), one of China’s primary cargo hubs with direct freighter connections to Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore, and Los Angeles. This geography is not accidental — it means your 330103-00-07-11-02-CN can be in the hands of DHL or FedEx within hours of order confirmation, not days.

Standard dispatch process:

  • Order confirmed before 14:00 CST: Same-day dispatch via DHL Express or FedEx International Priority.
  • Export documentation: Commercial invoice, packing list, and CN22/CN23 customs declaration prepared in-house. HS Code 9026.80 (instruments for measuring physical characteristics of liquids or gases) — a clean, low-friction commodity code for customs clearance in most jurisdictions.
  • Transit times (door-to-door, business days): Southeast Asia 2–3 days | Middle East 3–4 days | Europe 3–5 days | North America 4–6 days | Australia/NZ 3–4 days.
  • Tracking: AWB number provided within 2 hours of dispatch. Full end-to-end tracking via DHL/FedEx portal.
  • Packaging: Anti-static foam insert, rigid outer carton, fragile labeling. The probe tip is individually capped to prevent damage in transit.
  • Emergency freight: For genuine production-down situations, contact us directly on WhatsApp for charter freight or hand-carry options to your location.

We have shipped the 330103-00-07-11-02-CN to power plants in Vietnam, refineries in Saudi Arabia, LNG terminals in Australia, and paper mills in Scandinavia. Customs clearance issues are rare with proper documentation — and we handle the paperwork.
