Fault 1 — No Speed Signal / Drive Trips on Speed Feedback Loss
Don’t assume the sensor is dead. Disconnect the cable and measure coil resistance across the two signal wires. An open circuit or a reading outside the rated resistance window confirms a failed coil — order the replacement now. A reading within spec points upstream: check the cable for chafing at the conduit entry, verify the frequency input card’s threshold voltage, and measure the air gap between sensor tip and gear tooth.
