330101-00-34-10-02-05 In Stock — Every Hour of Downtime Costs More Than This Probe
Your turbine is down. Your compressor tripped on a proximity fault. The DCS is screaming. You already know the failed component — you just need the part, fast, from someone who actually has it on the shelf. The Bently Nevada 330101-00-34-10-02-05 is in stock at our Xiamen warehouse right now. We ship DHL Express same day on orders confirmed before 15:00 CST. No broker delays, no grey-market risk, no runaround.
This is a 100% original Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8mm eddy current proximity probe. It goes straight into your existing 3300 Series measurement chain — probe, extension cable, proximitor — without recalibration, without surprises.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips
Ten years of field work tells you that most 3300 Series proximity faults fall into three buckets. Here is how to work through them before you pull the probe:
Fault Code: OK Relay De-energized / Danger Alert on Radial Vibration Channel
First, check the proximitor output voltage at the BNC junction. Healthy gap voltage for this probe at nominal 1.0 mm gap is approximately −10.5 VDC. If you read −24 VDC (open circuit) or 0 VDC (short), the fault is in the probe or cable, not the monitor card. Swap the probe first — it is the cheapest component in the chain.
Replacement Procedure — Field Steps:
- Isolate the channel at the 3500/3300 rack. Place the monitor in Bypass to suppress the trip relay before you break the coaxial connection — do not skip this on a live machine.
- Disconnect the extension cable from the proximitor. Measure the probe tip-to-target gap with a feeler gauge before removal. Record it. You will set the replacement to the same gap.
- Back the probe out of the bracket. Note the thread engagement depth — the M10×1.0 thread gives you fine gap adjustment. Count the turns.
- Install the 330101-00-34-10-02-05 replacement. Thread in to the same engagement depth. Verify gap voltage at the proximitor output: target −10.5 VDC ±0.5 VDC at your recorded mechanical gap.
- No proximitor recalibration is required for a like-for-like 8mm probe swap. The 330180 proximitor is factory-calibrated to the 330101 probe + 330130 extension cable system. Total cable length (integral 1.0 m + extension) must match the original system — do not mix cable lengths between calibration sets.
- Remove Bypass, confirm OK relay energizes, verify vibration reading is within historical baseline ±10%. If the reading is elevated post-swap, the issue is mechanical, not the probe.
Common Misdiagnosis: Intermittent high-vibration trips that clear on reset are rarely a probe failure. Check the extension cable connector at the proximitor first — BNC connectors in high-vibration environments work-harden and crack at the crimp. A cracked BNC will produce exactly the same symptom as a failing probe at a fraction of the replacement cost.
Non-Standard Target Materials: If your shaft is Inconel, titanium, or duplex stainless, the standard 200 mV/mil calibration does not apply. The eddy current response varies with target conductivity and permeability. You need a custom calibration curve from Bently Nevada for that alloy. Running a standard-calibrated probe on a non-standard target will give you a false gap reading and potentially mask a real vibration event.
Reliability in Harsh Conditions
The 330101-00-34-10-02-05 is not a lab instrument. It was designed for the inside of a compressor train in a Middle Eastern gas plant at 55°C ambient, or a steam turbine bearing pedestal where the housing sees 150°C continuous and the occasional water induction event. The 316 stainless steel housing resists H₂S, chloride-laden cooling water, and the hydrocarbon mist that coats everything in a compressor hall within six months.
The IP67 rating means the probe survives full immersion to 1 metre — relevant when a bearing housing floods during a seal failure or a fire deluge event. The integral coaxial cable eliminates the connector junction that is the single most common failure point on field-assembled probe systems. There is no crimp to work loose, no O-ring to extrude, no connector body to corrode.
Frequency response to 10 kHz means this probe captures not just 1× and 2× running speed vibration but also blade-pass frequencies on high-speed compressors and gear mesh events on integrally geared machines. You are not buying a proximity sensor — you are buying the ability to see what is actually happening inside the machine.
Operating range of −35°C to +177°C covers everything from an Arctic LNG facility in winter startup to a hot-section bearing on a gas turbine. The probe does not drift with temperature in the way that piezoelectric accelerometers do. The eddy current measurement principle is inherently DC-coupled and temperature-stable within the rated range, which is why API 670 mandates this technology for shaft radial vibration on critical turbomachinery.
