  • Multiple I/O modules in the same chassis simultaneously reporting “Module Not Responding” or “Communication Fault” in Experion Station — not scattered across racks, but grouped within one chassis.
  • Experion alarm: IOLINK_FAIL or CHASSIS_PWR_FAULT on the affected node address. Cross-reference with the System Status Display in Experion Builder.
  • 24 VDC measured at the chassis PSU output terminals is nominal, but voltage at individual I/O module connectors reads low or zero — the PDB is the distribution point between them.
  • LED status on affected I/O modules shows solid red or no illumination, while the chassis controller module LEDs remain green — controller is alive, I/O power rail is dead.
