Product Overview

Airflow Monitor LCF 013 — Stop the Clock on Your Downtime

Every minute a pneumatic line runs without verified flow data is a minute your process is flying blind. When the LCF 013 fails — and it will fail, usually at 2 AM on a Sunday — you need a replacement on the bench before the shift supervisor starts asking questions. We stock the Airflow Monitor LCF 013 in Xiamen and ship globally via DHL Express and FedEx International Priority. Most orders clear customs and land on your dock within 3–5 business days. No waiting on factory lead times. No broker markups. Just the part, fast.

The LCF 013 is a compact pneumatic flow sensor from Airflow Monitor’s LCF series, purpose-built for compressed-air and neutral-gas monitoring in continuous industrial duty. It delivers reliable flow measurement in environments where vibration, pressure spikes, and temperature swings are daily realities — not edge cases. If your line is down and you need a verified OEM unit, this is the page you were looking for.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips

Ten years of field work teaches you that most LCF 013 failures fall into three buckets. Knowing which one you’re dealing with before you pull the unit saves you from ordering the wrong part — or worse, replacing a sensor that wasn’t actually the problem.

Fault 1 — Zero or erratic output signal. Before condemning the sensor, check the supply voltage at the connector under load. A sagging 24 VDC rail (dropping below 21 V) will cause the LCF 013 to output garbage or nothing at all. Measure at the sensor terminal, not at the panel PSU. If voltage is solid and the output is still dead, the internal flow element is likely fouled or failed — replace the unit.

Fault 2 — Output stuck at full-scale (20 mA / 10 V). This almost always means a blocked sensing port or a burst internal diaphragm. Disconnect the pneumatic line and check for debris or moisture ingress. Compressed-air systems without adequate filtration (minimum 5 µm, 3 mg/m³ oil content) will kill flow sensors prematurely. When you install the replacement LCF 013, fit a coalescing pre-filter upstream if one isn’t already present.

Fault 3 — Intermittent signal dropout correlated with machine vibration. The LCF series uses a push-in pneumatic connection. Over time, vibration works the tubing loose by fractions of a millimeter — enough to cause micro-leaks that corrupt the differential pressure reading. On replacement, cut 10–15 mm off the existing tube end (the collet grips a fresh, square-cut surface) and re-seat firmly. Secure the cable with a strain-relief clip within 50 mm of the connector body.

Replacement checklist before powering up:

  • Confirm supply voltage: 24 VDC ±10% at the sensor terminal under load
  • Verify flow direction arrow on sensor body matches pipe flow direction
  • Check output type (NPN vs PNP, analog vs digital) matches your PLC input card wiring
  • Set any DIP switches or address jumpers to match the original unit’s configuration — photograph the old unit before removal
  • Perform a zero-flow calibration if the sensor supports it: block the line, power up, confirm output reads minimum scale
  • Log the replacement in your CMMS with the new unit’s serial number and installation date

Reliability in Harsh Conditions

The LCF 013 is not a lab instrument. It was designed for the floor — where coolant mist settles on everything, where forklifts shake the building, and where the ambient temperature swings 20°C between morning startup and afternoon peak production.

The sensor housing is rated for continuous industrial duty. Internal components are selected for resistance to the micro-vibration that destroys lesser sensors over 12–18 months of operation. The sealed electronics cavity prevents moisture ingress from high-humidity environments, wash-down zones, and condensation cycles common in facilities that run 24/7 with overnight temperature drops.

For installations in particularly aggressive environments — foundries, press shops, outdoor enclosures — we recommend pairing the LCF 013 with a stainless-steel mounting bracket and a protective conduit sleeve on the cable run. The sensor itself will handle the environment; the weak point is always the cable and connector, so protect those first.

All units we ship are sourced from verified OEM distribution channels. Each unit undergoes incoming inspection including visual check, connector integrity test, and output signal verification before dispatch. We do not ship units that have been opened, repaired, or repackaged.

Global Express Logistics

Our warehouse is located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China — one of the country’s primary export hubs with direct access to DHL, FedEx, and UPS international gateways. This matters when you’re down: Xiamen’s port and air-freight infrastructure means we can cut a shipment same day for orders confirmed before 15:00 CST.

Typical transit times from Xiamen:

  • Southeast Asia (SG, MY, TH, VN): 2–3 business days via DHL Express
  • Australia / New Zealand: 3–4 business days via FedEx International Priority
  • Europe (DE, NL, PL, UK): 3–5 business days via DHL Express Worldwide
  • North America (US, CA, MX): 4–5 business days via FedEx International Priority
  • Middle East (AE, SA, QA): 3–4 business days via DHL Express
  • South America (BR, CL, CO): 5–7 business days via FedEx or DHL

All shipments include a commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin. For orders requiring customs pre-clearance documentation, HS code declarations, or specific carrier account billing, contact us before placing the order and we will accommodate. We have handled urgent air-freight shipments to active plant shutdowns — we know what the paperwork needs to look like to clear customs without delay.

Tracking numbers are issued within 2 hours of dispatch. We monitor all express shipments and proactively contact you if a customs hold or carrier exception occurs.
