330104-00-09-10-01-CN Down? Every Minute of Downtime Is Burning Cash — We Ship Today
Your turbine tripped. The DCS is screaming. Maintenance is standing by with nothing to do because one proximity transducer has taken your entire train offline. You’ve been there. So have we. The Bently Nevada 330104-00-09-10-01-CN is a matched-system eddy-current proximity transducer from the 3300 XL series — and we have it on the shelf in Xiamen, ready to clear customs and land on your site within 3–5 business days via DHL Express.
This is not a listing that says “lead time: 8–12 weeks.” This is a stocked unit, inspected, boxed, and waiting for your PO. While your procurement team is still sending RFQs to three distributors, we can have a tracking number in your inbox before end of business today.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips
After ten years of field work, here are the failure modes I see most often with the 330104-00-09-10-01-CN and what to check before you condemn the transducer:
1. Gap Voltage Out of Range (most common call I get)
The 3300 XL system requires a gap voltage between -10 VDC and -18 VDC at the Proximitor output. If you’re reading outside this window, don’t immediately blame the probe. Check the extension cable first — a single nick in the coax shield from a cable tray edge will throw the gap voltage completely. Ohm out the center conductor and shield separately. Resistance on the probe tip to connector should be under 10 Ω. Anything above 15 Ω and you’ve found your problem.
2. Matched System Integrity — Do Not Mix Components
This is a matched system. The probe (330104), extension cable (330130-XX-09), and Proximitor (330180 or 330181) are calibrated as a set. Swapping just the probe while reusing an old cable from a different system length will shift your scale factor and give you false vibration readings. When you replace the 330104-00-09-10-01-CN, replace the full matched set or verify the existing cable is the correct 9 m variant.
3. CN Connector Corrosion
The CN connector variant is common in Chinese petrochemical and power plants where humidity is a real issue. If the machine has been running in a wet environment, pull the connector and inspect the pins under a loupe. Green oxidation on the center pin will add enough resistance to push the Proximitor into a fault state. Clean with contact cleaner, dry thoroughly, and apply a thin coat of dielectric grease before reconnecting.
4. 3500 Monitor Fault Codes to Cross-Reference
When the 3500 rack throws a Not OK on the proximity channel, pull the channel status from the rack software. A Transducer Not OK with gap voltage reading -24 VDC (rail) means open circuit — broken cable or disconnected probe. A reading of 0 VDC means short circuit — usually a crushed cable. A gap voltage that drifts slowly over hours points to thermal expansion of the target shaft changing the air gap, which is a mechanical issue, not a transducer failure.
5. Reinstallation Torque and Target Material
Torque the probe body to 20–25 N·m. Do not exceed this — the probe housing is stainless but the threads in the bracket can gall. The 330104 is calibrated for AISI 4140 steel targets. If your shaft is a different alloy (316 SS, Inconel, titanium), the scale factor will be off and you need to apply the correction factor from the Bently Nevada calibration chart. This is a common miss during emergency replacements.
Reliability in Harsh Conditions
The 3300 XL series was not designed for a climate-controlled lab. It was designed for the inside of a gas turbine enclosure where ambient temperatures swing 80°C between cold start and full load, where lube oil mist coats every surface, and where the vibration from a 3,600 RPM shaft never stops. The 330104-00-09-10-01-CN carries a rated operating range of -35°C to +121°C — that covers everything from an outdoor compressor station in Inner Mongolia in January to a steam turbine bearing pedestal in a coastal power plant in Guangdong in August.
The probe tip is encapsulated in a chemically resistant polymer that resists lube oil, hydraulic fluid, and mild acids. The coaxial cable uses a double-shielded construction that rejects electromagnetic interference from adjacent VFDs and high-current bus bars — a real problem in modern plants where variable-speed drives are installed next to machinery protection systems. The CN connector is rated IP67 when fully mated, keeping moisture out even in wash-down environments.
Units we ship have been stored in controlled-humidity warehousing. We do not sell shelf-aged stock that has been sitting in an uncontrolled environment for years. Every unit is inspected for connector integrity, cable sheath condition, and probe tip surface before it leaves our facility.
Global Express Logistics
Our warehouse is in Xiamen, Fujian — one of China’s primary export hubs with direct DHL and FedEx gateway access. Here is exactly what happens after you confirm your order:
Day 0 (Order Confirmed): Unit is pulled from stock, inspected, and packed in anti-static foam with moisture-barrier outer packaging. Export documentation is prepared: commercial invoice, packing list, and customs declaration with correct HS code (8543.70 for proximity sensors).
Day 1 (Shipment): Handed to DHL Express or FedEx International Priority before the carrier cutoff. Tracking number sent to your email within 2 hours of pickup scan.
Day 2–4 (Transit): Clears Xiamen customs, transits through Hong Kong or Shanghai gateway, and enters destination country customs. For most Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, and European destinations, customs clearance is same-day on arrival at the gateway.
Day 3–5 (Delivery): Door delivery to your plant or procurement office. For remote sites, we recommend using your nearest city office as the delivery address and arranging local transport — DHL and FedEx do not always service industrial park addresses directly.
We handle all export paperwork. If your plant requires a specific country-of-origin certificate or a third-party inspection report, contact us before ordering and we will arrange it. Expedited same-day dispatch is available for orders confirmed before 14:00 CST.
