  • Fault 34 “MOTOR PHASE LOSS” appearing only at high speed — Can be a red herring. The NSB202-501W’s speed feedback is feeding incorrect velocity data to the inverter section. Swap the card before condemning the motor or cable.
  • Drive powers up but axis refuses to enable (STO active, no STO wiring fault) — The NSB202-501W holds the STO chain in some firmware revisions if its internal watchdog doesn’t handshake within 500 ms of power-on. A corrupted card will loop this indefinitely. New card clears it immediately.
