Ten years of field work teaches you that terminal block failures are rarely random. Here’s what actually goes wrong with the STA4S-00 S1 and how to handle it fast:

Fault 1 — Intermittent 4–20 mA signal dropout on a transmitter loop. Nine times out of ten, the spring cage has lost retention force due to thermal cycling in a cabinet without adequate ventilation.
