Product Overview

330101-00-11-10-02-00 — Every Hour of Downtime Costs You. We Ship Today.

Your turbine tripped at 03:00. The DCS alarm is screaming. Maintenance is standing by. The bottleneck is a single 8mm proximity probe — and your spare parts cabinet is empty. That’s exactly the scenario the Bently Nevada 330101-00-11-10-02-00 was built for, and exactly why we stock it ready to ship from Xiamen.

This is not a catalog listing. This is a live inventory position. We pull, inspect, and dispatch within hours of order confirmation. DHL Express to most industrial hubs in Asia, Europe, and the Americas lands in 2–5 business days. Your machine runs again before the week is out.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips

Ten years of field calls have taught me that 80% of 3300 XL probe failures fall into three buckets. Here’s how to diagnose fast and swap clean.

Fault 1 — Gap Voltage Out of Range (most common)
Monitor shows a Not OK or gap voltage outside −10 V to −18 V window. Before condemning the probe, check the extension cable connector for corrosion or a cracked ferrule. A bad 330130 extension mimics a dead probe. Swap the extension first — it’s faster. If gap voltage is still wrong after extension swap, the probe tip is the culprit. Measure DC resistance across the probe coil: open circuit or less than 1 Ω both indicate a failed probe.

Fault 2 — Noisy or Spiking Vibration Signal
Intermittent high-amplitude spikes on the vibration channel with no corresponding process change usually point to a loose probe tip or a cracked armored cable near the mounting boss. Run your hand along the cable under power (carefully) — a micro-short will show as a repeatable spike at the flex point. Replace the probe and re-route the cable with a minimum 50 mm bend radius.

Fault 3 — Calibration Drift After Maintenance
If the machine was recently opened and the probe was re-installed, verify the air gap. The 330101-00-11-10-02-00 linear range is 0.25–2.26 mm. Target gap at mid-range: 1.0–1.27 mm (gap voltage approximately −10 V to −12 V). Use a non-magnetic feeler gauge. Do not rely on the old shim stack — shaft journals wear and the gap shifts. Always re-gap from scratch after a bearing change.

Replacement Checklist (field-tested sequence):

  • De-energize the proximitor supply rail before disconnecting the probe — hot-swap causes a false trip on most 3500 racks.
  • Note the existing gap voltage before removal (photograph the monitor display).
  • Clean the probe mounting threads with a brass brush — steel tools scratch the bore and cause micro-vibration.
  • Apply a thin coat of anti-seize to the probe body threads, not the tip.
  • Set air gap to 1.0 mm, energize, and read gap voltage. Adjust in 0.1 mm increments until within spec.
  • Lock the jam nut to 20–25 N·m. Under-torque causes probe walk; over-torque cracks the housing.
  • Verify the 3500 monitor channel goes OK and vibration baseline matches pre-fault trend data.
  • Log the new gap voltage in your CMMS — it’s your baseline for the next inspection cycle.

Target Material Note: The 330101-00-11-10-02-00 is factory-calibrated for AISI 4140 steel. If your shaft is Inconel, titanium, or any non-magnetic alloy, the scale factor shifts. Contact us — we can supply a recalibrated unit or the correct Proximitor trim resistor value.

Reliability in Harsh Conditions

The 3300 XL probe series was not designed for a lab. It was designed for the inside of a gas turbine enclosure where ambient temperatures swing from cold-start −20°C to steady-state +110°C within 45 minutes, where lube oil mist coats every surface, and where the shaft it’s watching spins at 3,600 RPM generating continuous broadband vibration.

The armored cable on the 330101-00-11-10-02-00 uses a stainless steel braid over a PTFE-insulated coaxial core. That combination handles continuous exposure to turbine oil, hydraulic fluid, and cleaning solvents without jacket degradation. The TNC connector is sealed to IP67 — condensation from thermal cycling does not penetrate the signal path.

Mechanically, the probe body is machined from 316 stainless steel. It tolerates the vibration environment it’s measuring — tested to 20 g broadband per IEC 60068-2-64. The tip face is hardened and polished to maintain consistent eddy-current coupling even after years of proximity to a rotating shaft. We have seen original 3300 XL probes pulled from service after 15+ years of continuous operation with gap voltage still within factory spec.

Every unit we ship is inspected for tip damage, cable integrity, and connector seating before it leaves our warehouse. We do not ship cosmetically damaged probes regardless of electrical function — a cracked tip face is a latent failure waiting to happen.

Global Express Logistics

Our dispatch hub is in Xiamen, China — a major international freight gateway with daily DHL Express and FedEx International Priority departures. Here is what happens after you confirm your order:
