330101-00-50-15-02-05 In Stock — Every Hour of Downtime Costs You More Than This Part
Your compressor train is down. The 3500 rack is throwing a Not OK on channel 2. Maintenance has already pulled the probe and confirmed the cable is shorted at the connector — classic failure mode on the 330101 series after years of thermal cycling in a hot-end bearing housing. You need a replacement now, not in six weeks.
The Bently Nevada 330101-00-50-15-02-05 is physically in our Xiamen warehouse. We ship DHL Express same day on confirmed orders placed before 15:00 CST. For most destinations in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, you are looking at 48–72 hours door to door. That is the difference between a controlled restart and a week of production loss.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips
After handling hundreds of 3300 XL field replacements, these are the failure patterns and swap pitfalls that actually matter on the floor:
Fault Code: Not OK (NOK) — Channel Dropout
The most common call I get. The 3500 rack goes NOK on a channel and the operator assumes the monitor card is dead. Nine times out of ten it is the probe or the extension cable junction. Before you pull the rack card, do this: disconnect the Proximitor output and measure DC bias voltage directly. A healthy 330101 system reads between −10 VDC and −12 VDC at the nominal air gap. If you are reading −24 VDC (rail voltage), the probe tip is open-circuit — cable break or connector failure. If you are reading 0 VDC, the probe is shorted — usually moisture ingress at the probe body or a crushed armored cable.
Air Gap Setting After Swap
This is where most technicians lose time. The 330101-00-50-15-02-05 has a linear range of 0.25 mm to 2.26 mm. Your target installation gap is typically 1.0 mm to 1.27 mm (40–50 mil) for radial vibration applications, which puts the DC bias output at approximately −10.5 VDC to −11.5 VDC. Use a non-magnetic feeler gauge — do not trust a steel gauge near the probe tip. Verify the gap with the Proximitor output voltage before you close the bearing housing. If the gap is off by 0.3 mm, your vibration readings will be shifted and your alarm setpoints will be wrong.
Extension Cable Matching
The 330101-00-50-15-02-05 ships with a 5m integral cable. The system is calibrated for a total cable length of 5m probe cable + 5m extension = 10m total. If you substitute a different extension cable length, the Proximitor sensitivity will shift. The 3300 XL driver is factory-calibrated for specific cable combinations — do not mix lengths without recalibrating the Proximitor or you will introduce a static measurement error. Always match the extension cable part number to the original system configuration.
Connector Torque and Sealing
TNC connectors on the 330101 series are a chronic leak point in humid or washdown environments. When reconnecting, torque the TNC coupling nut to 1.0–1.2 N·m — finger-tight plus a quarter turn with a wrench. Apply a wrap of self-amalgamating tape over the junction if the installation is exposed to water spray or condensation. I have seen more NOK faults caused by a corroded TNC junction than by actual probe failure.
Proximitor Power-Up Sequence
After installing the new probe, apply −24 VDC to the Proximitor before bringing the shaft to operating speed. Confirm the DC bias output is stable at the correct gap voltage. If the output is oscillating or noisy with the shaft stationary, suspect a grounding issue — the probe body must be electrically isolated from the bearing housing in most installations. Check the probe holder insulation sleeve.
3500 Rack Configuration Check
If you are replacing a probe that was previously configured in the 3500 rack, verify the channel configuration has not drifted. Pull up the channel configuration in System 1 or the 3500 Rack Configuration Software and confirm: transducer type = 3300 XL 8mm, scale factor = 200 mV/mil, OK limit = −2 VDC to −18 VDC. A misconfigured OK limit is the fastest way to get a false NOK after a clean installation.
Reliability in Harsh Conditions
The 330101-00-50-15-02-05 was not designed for a climate-controlled instrument room. It was built for the bearing housing of a 15,000 RPM centrifugal compressor running in a tropical refinery, a gas turbine enclosure where ambient temperature swings 80°C between cold start and full load, and an offshore platform where salt spray and vibration are constants, not exceptions.
The probe body is machined from 316 stainless steel with a ceramic-filled epoxy tip that resists chemical attack from process gas condensates, lube oil, and cleaning solvents. The armored integral cable uses a stainless steel braid over a PTFE-insulated coaxial core — this is not a standard instrumentation cable. It is rated for continuous flexing in high-vibration installations and will not work-harden and crack the way standard RG-type coax does after 18 months of vibration exposure.
Vibration immunity is validated to 20g broadband from 10 Hz to 2,000 Hz — well above the structural resonance frequencies of most machinery foundations. The probe tip geometry is optimized for target materials with conductivity in the range of carbon steel and alloy steel shaft materials, maintaining sensitivity accuracy within ±1% across the full operating temperature range of −35°C to +121°C.
In high-humidity environments, the factory-applied conformal coating on the Proximitor electronics provides protection against condensation-induced leakage currents that would otherwise corrupt the DC bias output. This is a detail that matters at 3:00 AM when the dew point drops and your instrumentation starts drifting.
Global Express Logistics
Our dispatch hub is in Xiamen, China — one of the most logistics-efficient ports in Asia, with direct DHL Express and FedEx International Priority connections to over 220 countries. Here is what the process looks like from your purchase order to your receiving dock:
Day 0 — Order Confirmation: Payment confirmed and export documentation prepared. For orders placed before 15:00 CST, same-day dispatch is standard. We generate the commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of conformance in parallel — no waiting for paperwork after the box is packed.
Day 0–1 — Export Clearance: Xiamen Customs processes industrial automation components under HS Code 9031.80 with a typical clearance time of 2–4 hours for pre-classified shipments. We maintain a standing customs broker relationship that eliminates the delays that hit first-time exporters.
Day 1–3 — In-Transit: DHL Express transit times from Xiamen: Singapore 1 day, UAE/Saudi Arabia 2 days, Germany/Netherlands 2–3 days, USA/Canada 3 days, Brazil/Argentina 4–5 days. FedEx International Priority is available as an alternative carrier for destinations where DHL performance is inconsistent.
Day 3–5 — Delivery: Shipment arrives with full tracking visibility from pickup to delivery. We provide the AWB number within 2 hours of dispatch so your logistics team can pre-clear import documentation and have a forklift at the dock when the courier arrives.
For critical plant shutdowns where standard express is not fast enough, we can arrange charter freight or hand-carry courier service. Contact us directly to discuss options — we have done it before and we will do it again.
