Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips

Before you pull the probe, confirm the fault is not upstream. The 3300 NSv system will throw a Not OK (NOK) status for three distinct reasons: probe gap out of range, open circuit in the extension cable, or a failed Proximitor sensor. Swap the extension cable first — it is the most common failure point and takes two minutes. If the Proximitor output reads –24 VDC with no probe connected, the Proximitor is alive; the probe or cable is the culprit.
