Symptom 2 — Timer resets to default setpoints after power cycle: The battery is already dead. Before replacing the cell, photograph or record all current setpoints from the module’s display or engineering software. Once the new ETM-IS31-001 is installed and mains power is restored, re-enter the setpoints manually. Do not assume the module will recover data — it won’t.
