PR6423/100-141 CON041 — Every Hour of Downtime Costs You. We Ship Today.
Your turbine is down. The vibration monitor is throwing a gap voltage fault. Maintenance is standing by. You’ve traced it to the proximity probe — and now you need a verified PR6423/100-141 CON041 matched pair in your hands, not in three weeks. That’s exactly why we stock it in Xiamen, ready to move via DHL Express the same business day you confirm the order.
The EPRO PR6423/100-141 CON041 is a factory-matched eddy current proximity system: an 8 mm probe paired with its dedicated CON041 oscillator/driver. It is the workhorse of API 670-compliant turbomachinery protection — gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, large pumps. It is also the direct mechanical and electrical equivalent of the Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm proximity system, which means your existing monitor calibration factors stay valid. No re-ranging. No re-commissioning the rack. Swap the probe, reconnect the driver, verify gap voltage, release the machine.
We are not a broker guessing at lead times. We physically hold stock, inspect every unit before it ships, and provide the calibration certificate with the box. If you are an FAE or reliability engineer who has been burned by counterfeit sensors before, you already know why that matters.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips
Most common failure modes in the field:
1. Gap voltage out of range — monitor trips on Not OK
This is the number one call at 2 AM. Before condemning the probe, check the driver output with a calibrated DVM at the BNC or terminal block. Nominal gap voltage for a 1.0 mm air gap on AISI 4140 should read approximately −10 VDC ± 0.5 V. If you are reading −24 V (rail) or 0 V, the driver oscillator has failed — not the probe. If you are reading a plausible but drifting voltage, suspect the probe cable jacket for micro-fractures from vibration fatigue, especially at the probe body entry point.
2. Probe/driver mismatch after field replacement
The PR6423/100-141 and CON041 are factory-calibrated as a matched pair. If someone previously replaced only the probe or only the driver with a non-matched unit, your sensitivity will be off — typically 5–15% — and the monitor alarm setpoints will be wrong. Always replace as a system. When you install this unit, verify the sensitivity at a known gap using a feeler gauge and compare against the calibration certificate we ship with the unit.
3. Intermittent Not OK on a machine running normally
Ninety percent of the time this is a connector issue. The MIL-spec connector at the driver end corrodes in humid or oil-mist environments. Clean with contact cleaner, inspect the O-ring seal, and re-torque. If the fault persists under vibration but clears at rest, the probe cable has an internal break — replace the probe assembly.
Replacement procedure — condensed field checklist:
- De-energize the monitor channel and confirm −24 VDC supply is isolated at the driver terminal.
- Record the existing gap voltage and physical gap measurement before removal — you will need this to set the new probe.
- Remove the probe from the bracket. Note the thread engagement depth (typically 10–14 mm for a 1.0 mm nominal gap on an 8 mm probe).
- Install the new PR6423/100-141. Thread in until the tip is approximately 2 mm from the shaft, then back out to achieve the target gap. Lock with the jam nut — do not over-torque (max 15 Nm on M10).
- Connect the CON041 driver. Re-energize the −24 VDC supply.
- Measure gap voltage at the monitor input. Adjust physical gap until output matches the calibration curve (−10 VDC ± 0.2 V at 1.0 mm for AISI 4140).
- Verify OK status on the monitor. Document the final gap voltage in the maintenance record.
- No firmware, no DIP switches, no address configuration required — this is a purely analog system.
Note on non-standard target materials: If your shaft is Inconel, titanium, or duplex stainless, the factory calibration on AISI 4140 does not apply. Contact us — we can supply units with custom calibration certificates for your specific target material.
Reliability in Harsh Conditions
The PR6423/100-141 was not designed for a clean lab. It was designed for the bearing pedestal of a 50 MW gas turbine running at 3,000 RPM in a tropical petrochemical plant, where ambient temperature swings 60 °C between day and night, lube oil mist saturates the air, and the machine vibrates at levels that destroy ordinary sensors in weeks.
The probe body is hermetically sealed to IP67. The cable jacket is rated for continuous immersion in lube oil and resistance to the aromatic hydrocarbons common in refinery environments. The M10 × 1 stainless steel housing withstands the mechanical shock of adjacent machinery trips without losing calibration. ATEX Ex ia IIC T6 Ga certification means it is intrinsically safe for Zone 0 installation — the most hazardous classification, where explosive atmospheres are present continuously.
The CON041 driver maintains output stability across its full −35 °C to +85 °C operating range. Internal components are selected for long-term drift performance: in a well-maintained installation, calibration shift over five years of continuous operation is typically less than 1% of full scale. That is why reliability engineers specify EPRO PR6423 systems for critical machinery where a false trip costs more than the sensor itself.
We have shipped these units to offshore platforms in the North Sea, LNG terminals in Qatar, and cement plants in Southeast Asia. The packaging is designed for the journey: anti-static foam, desiccant, and a sealed outer carton rated for air freight handling. The unit you receive is in the same condition it left the factory.
Global Express Logistics
Stock is held at our Xiamen warehouse, which gives us direct access to Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) — a major DHL and FedEx hub for industrial parts moving out of southern China. Here is how the process works from the moment you confirm your order:
Same-day dispatch: Orders confirmed before 14:00 CST are packed, documented, and handed to the carrier the same business day. Export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, and ATEX certificate of conformity — is prepared in parallel with packing.
DHL Express / FedEx International Priority transit times from Xiamen:
