330903-00-09-05-02-05 — Every Hour of Downtime Costs You. We Ship Today.
Your turbine is down. The vibration monitor is throwing a fault. Maintenance is standing by. You need a Bently Nevada 330903-00-09-05-02-05 — not in two weeks, not “subject to availability” — now. We stock this unit in Xiamen and dispatch same-day via DHL Express or FedEx International Priority. While your competitors are still waiting on lead times, your line is back online.
This is the 3300 XL NSv 8 mm proximity transducer system — a matched assembly of transducer probe, 5 m armored integral cable, and 5 m extension cable. It is the backbone of API 670-compliant machinery protection on steam turbines, gas compressors, and centrifugal pumps worldwide. When it fails, nothing else matters until it is replaced.

Troubleshooting & Replacement Tips
Ten years of field work teaches you that most 330903-series failures fall into four categories. Know them before you pull the probe.
1. Gap Voltage Out of Range (Most Common)
Target gap voltage should read between –10 VDC and –18 VDC at operating gap. If you are seeing –24 VDC or –2 VDC, the probe is either bottomed out or has lost its tip. Check physical gap first with a feeler gauge before condemning the transducer. Correct gap for this 8 mm probe: 1.0 mm ± 0.1 mm (approximately 40 mil).
2. Scale Factor Drift
The 3300 XL NSv system is a matched set — transducer, extension cable, and driver are calibrated together at the factory. If you swap only the transducer and reuse the old extension cable, your scale factor will be off. The 3500 monitor will accept the signal but your vibration readings will be inaccurate. Always replace the full matched set: 330903-00-09-05-02-05 (transducer + 5 m integral + 5 m extension).
3. Intermittent Signal / High Noise Floor
Coaxial connector corrosion is the silent killer on wet or offshore installations. Inspect the BNC-style connector at the junction box. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and re-torque to spec. If noise persists after connector service, the extension cable shield is likely compromised — replace the cable before the transducer.
4. 3500 Monitor Fault Codes
— OK Relay De-energized + Danger LED: Gap voltage outside –2 to –18 VDC window. Physical gap or probe failure.
— Not OK (NOK) with normal gap voltage: Driver module (330180-X1-05) failure, not the transducer. Swap driver first.
— Intermittent OK/NOK cycling: Extension cable continuity issue. Flex-test the cable along its run.
— Constant –24 VDC output: Open circuit in the coaxial path — connector, cable, or probe coil failure.
Replacement Procedure (Field-Expedient):
① De-energize the driver module at the 3500 rack — do not hot-swap under live machinery protection.
② Record the existing gap voltage and physical gap measurement before removal.
③ Remove the probe using the correct spanner — do not grip the cable.
④ Install the new 330903-00-09-05-02-05 and set gap to 1.0 mm using a non-ferrous feeler gauge.
⑤ Reconnect the matched extension cable — verify connector seating and torque.
⑥ Re-energize the driver and confirm gap voltage reads –10 to –12 VDC at 1.0 mm gap.
⑦ Perform a static calibration check per Bently Nevada TDI-330903 before returning to service.
Reliability in Harsh Conditions
The 330903-00-09-05-02-05 was not designed for a clean lab. It was designed for the places where your most critical assets run — hot, wet, vibrating, and unforgiving.
The probe tip operates continuously at up to 177°C, making it suitable for high-pressure steam turbine bearing housings where ambient temperatures routinely exceed what most sensors can tolerate. The armored integral cable withstands mechanical abuse from rotating machinery guards and cable trays without signal degradation.
Vibration immunity is inherent to the eddy-current operating principle — unlike accelerometers, the proximity transducer has no moving parts and no resonant frequency to worry about. It measures shaft position directly, immune to the structural vibration that corrupts accelerometer-based systems in high-frequency machinery.
Moisture ingress is addressed through the hermetically sealed probe body and the IP67-rated coaxial connector system. Installations in offshore compressor trains, paper mill steam chests, and petrochemical reactor agitators have demonstrated continuous service lives exceeding 8 years without recalibration when installed correctly.
Every unit we ship has been inspected for connector integrity, cable continuity, and coil resistance before dispatch. We do not ship untested stock.
Global Express Logistics
Our Xiamen warehouse operates on a same-day dispatch model for in-stock items ordered before 15:00 CST. Here is what the timeline looks like from the moment you send your purchase order:
Day 0 — Order Confirmation: You send PO or WhatsApp inquiry. We confirm stock, issue proforma invoice, and prepare export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, HS code 9031.80 for proximity transducers).
Day 0 — Dispatch: Unit is packed in anti-static foam with original-equivalent protective packaging. DHL Express or FedEx International Priority waybill generated. Tracking number sent to your email within 2 hours of dispatch.
Day 1–3 — Transit (Most Destinations): DHL Express from Xiamen (XMN) reaches Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Australia in 1–2 business days. Europe (Germany, Netherlands, UK) in 2–3 days. USA and Canada in 2–3 days. Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia) in 2–3 days.
Customs Clearance: We prepare complete export documentation to minimize customs hold risk. For destinations with import duty concerns (India, Brazil, Indonesia), we advise on DAP vs. DDP terms upfront — no surprise charges on delivery.
Emergency Freight: For genuine production-down situations, we can arrange hand-carry courier or charter freight on request. Contact us directly on WhatsApp for expedited options outside standard DHL/FedEx schedules.
We have shipped to refineries in Kazakhstan, power plants in Vietnam, and compressor stations in Nigeria. If there is a flight, we can get it there.
