After ten years of field work, here is what actually goes wrong with DIN rail PSUs in this class — and what to check before you condemn the unit or after you install the replacement.

Fault 1 — No output voltage, green LED off: Before pulling the CP-DM20, verify AC input is present at the terminal block with a meter. A blown upstream fuse or tripped MCB is the most common culprit.
